my hankerings

i was watching one of the re-runs of Joey - the one in which Alex is turning 30 and has to do at least one of the things on her "list of things to do before turning 30". i decided to make one of those lists but ended up making a list of things/ events / inventions/ ideals which would make me deliriously happy! whenever they happen. (hopefully very very soon). i wish to keep adding on to these as the following came to my mind in a span of half an hour which i believe is too short a time for one to figure out whatever would make them happy. so here goes....


- to be able to dance like "penny" in Dirty Dancing. rather i want my own Patrick Swayze who'll make me move like that!
- a cup massage
- jump in to the ganga and flow with the water. bodysurfing! 
- my own water bed :D
- to open my own jump school
- to be Anthony Bourdain
- a "Lush" closet in my bathroom
- to live alone
- to be able to say the right thing at the right time
- 2 day weekends
- lebanese & indian & mexican & chinese(chinese chinese and not the indian chinese) delicacies
- every woman to realize her worth
- liquor chocolates
- my own stud farm. actually a dark brown stallion would do
- to base jump
- a fridge full of watermelon, kiwi, grapes, melon & oranges
- a real hug everyday
- a "laZ boy"!
- lots of tea lights and floating candles
- to be able to appreciate art. sometimes i just don't get it!
-  a trampoline!
- to be a social entrepreneur
- to learn how to play golf
- a random weekend trip every week
- a PPL
- my own Jet-ski :D
- to never be judged
- to stand under a waterfall with the water pressure making my head spin
- macbook air
- to adopt my own baby girl
- to be 3" taller
- my passport to be embedded in my wrist. i can then never lose it. also a chip in my lip n one in my ear for a phone    would make life perfect!
- to go skiing at auli
- to go back to uni
- an enfield. wouldn't even mind getting driven around in one
- dimsum luches every alternate day. 
- nihari and brain curry ...yummmmmmy !
- my imaginary friend / boyfriend to eventually turn up
- a treasure map! n three months off work to be able to pursue it
- to live on a beach
- a hens night in barcelona
- one of those planes which can land in the water :D

it's clear we haven't figured out just how to be yet.

It's also clear I haven't figured out just how to be yet.  One day I'm skipping and dancing and the next day I feel like the universe's favorite punching bag.  I am aware, how egoistical that thought is.  I visualize the "skipping" me, dragging the "punching bag" me out of my own mind.  The "skipping" me is a lot more fun. I want to be with her most of the time.  I say most of the time, only because "punching bag" me makes me realize how much I appreciate "skipping" me.
